FOR NOW - AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE and Q&A AHEAD OF OZFLIX LAUNCH NOV 1

Following its international festival circuit and 2019 online US release, the heartfelt comedy feature For Now will have its Australian premiere on Tuesday 29 October at 7.00 pm at Dendy Newtown, Sydney ahead of its digital roll out on Ozflix on November 1.

With its crowdfunded micro-budget of $25,000, a seven day shoot and three-man crew, this hilarious, honest and heart-warming road-movie is the first feature by emerging filmmaker Hannah Barlow and the second for Kane Senes who will both participate in a Q&A following the premiere.

Blurring the line between reality and fiction, For Now features improvised performances based closely on the actors who play them.  Hannah – an aspiring young Australian actress living in Los Angeles, arranges an audition at the San Francisco Ballet Company for her estranged younger brother Connor – a professional dancer based in Europe.  Both siblings are still grieving the deaths of their beloved parents whist trying to build a future for themselves - continents apart.  Hannah’s boyfriend Kane and her best friend Katherine join the road trip up the Californian coast, bypassing many wondrous sun-soaked sights … as well as their self respect.
