Miranda Tapsell received two TV Week Logies Awards in recognition of her role as Martha on Love Child, produced by Playmaker for the NINE Network.
In the audience voted category, Tapsell won Most Popular New Talent whilst also also receiving the prestigious Graham Kennedy Award For Most Outstanding Newcomer in the peer-voted category.
“Put more beautiful people of colour on TV and connect viewers in ways which transcend race that unite us. That’s the real Team Australia, thank you very much,” said Miranda Tapsell during her first speech.
