Joel Jackson has been honoured with double AACTA Award nominations in the Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama category by the Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts it was announced today.
The Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama nominations are for his outstanding portrayals of both Charles Bean in Foxtel’s Deadline Gallipoli (which received a total of 8 nominations) and Peter Allen in Network Seven’s Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door which received a total of 10 nominations including Best Telefeature or Mini Series.
Represented by Morrissey Management and UTA, Joel Jackson graduated from Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2013.
The 2015 Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts Awards will be held on Wednesday 9 December in Sydney.
