One of Australia’s leading content businesses Beyond International Ltd (BYI) today welcomed the news that its international distribution division, Beyond Rights, is recognised as one of the Top 10 distributors in the UK.
International TV trade magazine, Broadcast, recently published its annual UK Distributor Survey for 2020 which ranks key players in the distribution industry with Beyond Rights rated as one of the Top 10 distributors, appearing at No.8 in the survey.
Beyond Rights’ achievement, based on reported turnover of $AUD 47.9 million (£27.9million), follows the merger of its two distribution businesses, Beyond Distribution and TCB Media Rights, which Beyond acquired earlier this year. In addition to the UK team, the business incorporates offices in Dublin and Sydney.
Led by CEO Katy Llewelyn-Jones, Beyond Rights has an enviable catalogue of more than 7,500 hours covering an extensive range of unscripted genres and documentaries, in addition to scripted content, feature films, children’s programmes and formats. Key long-running titles in the combined catalogue include Love It or List It, MythBusters, Abandoned Engineering, Underground Worlds and Border Patrol.
Beyond International Managing Director Mikael Borglund said: “This industry recognition highlights Beyond Rights’ outstanding team and breadth of catalogue. We are looking forward to building on this success in 2021 and beyond.”
